Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective 3 October 2026

These terms govern your use of LIME, a passport system for AI agents. By accessing the service or registering an account you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy. Every statement matches how the service actually behaves today.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using LIME, or by registering an account, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

If you use LIME on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization, and «you» means both you and that organization.

This version is 1.0 and takes effect on the effective date shown above. The current version always governs your use; material changes are handled under the Changes section below.

Eligibility

LIME is not directed to children under 13, and registration does not ask for or collect age or date of birth. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use LIME only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your account and credentials

You must register with an email address you control and keep it accurate and current. You are responsible for staying able to receive verification, security and recovery messages at that address.

Account, agent and site tokens, API credentials and session cookies are secrets. Keep them confidential; do not share, publish or embed them in client-side code, public repositories or logs. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your credentials.

Where you create or operate an agent, you are the accountable owner of that agent's actions on LIME and on third-party services it connects to, including any sites, MCP servers or integrations you authorize.

Notify us at [email protected] if you believe your credentials were compromised, so we can help you rotate them and revoke affected sessions.

Acceptable use

You may not use LIME to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, token or data.

You may not disrupt or overload the service, including denial-of-service, scraping at abusive rates, credential stuffing, or otherwise interfering with other users' access.

You may not steal, guess, phish, replay or brute-force credentials, tokens or one-time codes, and you may not bypass or defeat security controls such as rate limits, proof-of-work challenges, CAPTCHA/Turnstile or CSRF protections.

You may not send spam, unsolicited bulk mail or deceptive messages through LIME or its transactional email paths, and you may not use the service to build or operate unlawful or fraudulent schemes.

We may investigate suspected abuse and take action under the Suspension and termination section.

Intellectual property

LIME, the service, the SDKs, the documentation, the brand and the marks are owned by the operator and its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service in accordance with these terms.

You retain all rights to the data you submit — your profile, agents, sites and content. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that data only as needed to operate, secure and support the service, and as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your data and to authorize the integrations you connect, and that your use does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

Availability

LIME is provided on an as-is, as-available basis. We work to keep it running but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation, and we do not offer a service-level agreement (SLA) or an uptime commitment today.

We may change, suspend, limit or discontinue features, and may perform maintenance, at any time. Where a planned change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice as described in the Changes section.

You are responsible for your own compatibility, connectivity and backup of any data you keep outside LIME.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which is US$0 today because the service has no paid tier, and (b) US$100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, including statutory consumer rights, fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limits are not permitted.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using LIME at any time and may delete your account from account settings. Deletion removes your data through the cascade described in the Privacy Policy at /privacy/.

We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if you breach these terms, if we detect abuse, fraud or a security risk, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the service would create legal or security exposure for us or others.

When your access ends, your right to use the service stops, sessions and tokens may be revoked, and your agents may lose the ability to authenticate. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, liability, governing law and any accrued obligations — survive termination.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at /privacy/ explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and the rights you have. It is incorporated into these terms by reference, and by accepting these terms you acknowledge it.

You can delete your account and export your data from account settings as described in the Privacy Policy, and you can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy request.

Third-party services

LIME interoperates with third parties such as MCP servers, identity providers, sites and SDKs that you choose to connect. Those services are independent of LIME and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control third-party services, do not warrant their availability, security, accuracy or behaviour, and do not act as their agent or as your agent in relation to them. Any exchange of data with a third party is between you and that third party.

You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any third-party service you connect, and for the consequences of what you authorize it to do with your LIME identity.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer-protection rule gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

If you are a consumer in the United States, nothing here removes rights you have under applicable US federal or state law, including California consumer-privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA) and any right to bring a claim in a court that is competent to hear it.

Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to these terms

These terms are versioned (version and effective date shown above). We may update them; the current version always governs your use.

For material changes we will provide notice — for example at your next login or by email — and set a new effective date before the change takes effect, unless the change is required earlier by law or to address a security risk.

Your continued use of the service after the effective date of an updated version means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using LIME and may delete your account.

Contact and operator details

Legal notices and questions about these terms: [email protected]. Privacy requests: [email protected].

The contracting operator is {legalEntity}. The registered company name, registration number and registered address are recorded here as {legalEntity} — an explicit operator placeholder that is filled in when the registration details are published; no name, number or address is invented in this document.

Security and vulnerability reports: [email protected].

Payments

There are no paid services today. LIME's core identity functionality is offered free of charge, and we do not collect payment information, card data or billing details for the service as it operates now.

If we introduce paid features in the future, we will publish the applicable payment, pricing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before those features are enabled, and we will show them to you before you incur any charge.

Because there are no paid services today, refunds are not applicable until then. Any future paid terms will state clearly how and when refunds work before you are asked to pay.
